   This plant, Canna is a very special plant because not only does the flowers come in different colors but the leaves have different colors too.  The flowers of coarse come in different colors, there are many different colors that they come in like:Red, Pink, Yellow even a creamy color.  Canna leaves come in different colors such as:Reddish orange, Purple, Burgundy or just plain green.  Most of the time the leaves would be striped with different colors, usually it would be green and another color but it could also just be a few other colors.

   When planting this flower be sure to put some diatomaceos earth around the roots, to keep the slugs away from your plant.  There could also be caterpillars on your plant, the only thing you could really do is just pick them off.  If you are going to plant this flower then be sure to put it in a spot that gets lots of sun.  Canna plants need to live in lots of sun, because they come from different parts of India.

   I would definitely have this flower in my garden because of it's beautiful flowers and leaves.  Also because I like the more interesting plants and this plant is one of them.  Hope you enjoy your flowers, Happy planting!
