Tulips

Tulips are a wonderful kind of flower, because of the fact that they start to grow after our winter has ended, and a new spring has begun. They are also a great help to many gardeners, because of when they grow, as I said before, they tell you when winter is over and that it's time to start thinking about what your going to grow . They are also a love of many people.

Tulips can bloom in any color, from red to pink or yellow to orange. The only color tulips do not grow in, is blue. The tulips can also have mixed colors, and another name besides just TULIPS. My favorite kind of mixed tulips are whats called “Keizerskroon” These flowers are bright yellow with a bright red blotch in the middle on each petal.

The tulips size can grow between the height of four to twenty-four inches, and have a width of three to five inches. Tulips grow in bunches, and look great in a flower bed or even if its just on the ground beside the house.

These brightly colored flowers, grow in a partly shady and sun area. Tulips feature their brightly colored petals and light green leaves.

When growing your Tulips, it's best to start them off right. For a better plant result, you must firstdig a small hole, four times the height of the bulb. Secondly, you pour in some soft rocks, more like smaller than soft pebbles, (pebbles are optional) for a better water drainage. Fill the hole until it's just about to the top. And lastly, you need to place in the hole, the your tulip bulb, and give it a bit of water, to keep it moist, happy and healthy.

That is the key to a good, growing, tulip, and great planting results.
